"Brian's Cat" 16"x12" Acrylic on canvas. April 2023. The final in the Christmas gifts series. This one was a fun challenge. The original reference image had the cat sitting inside a carrier, which wasn't a very nice backdrop. However, the cat's composition looked so good, I wanted to use it, so I added a twinkly light background. I really like the light and contrast in this painting, one of my favorites for sure!
